Workplace hazards

I have always imagined how Terengganu and Kelantan will be like when its the monsoon season. Now that I am experiencing it here, it is exactly as how I have imagined. The people here kept saying this year is the worst monsoon hit year, and it was not that bad the previous years.
Yeah right. huhuhuhu

Anyhow, I got to relax around no thanks to the frequent landslide at my workplace. There is even one time when I almost become a statistic contributor. My car was stuck because of the thick flowing mud from the cliff. I had to call for help because barely a meter away from me, is another cliff -> downwards. My car and I are inching towards the fall of the century.

To add to my fear, I am witnessing another landslide, consists of big boulders right in front of me. It was 10 meters in front of me I think. I quickly re-access my situation. I looked up and saw a big tree trunk, waiting to strike me at the right moment. It was resting on a mud hole, waiting it to be filled. I can also see waves of mud washing and rolling down big rocks along the road as if they were pebbles. Chamness.... The terror of nature.
And I am still stuck in my car!!!!!

Alas, my savior came. A wheel loader, pulling my car using a wire-rope. My car almost plunged down the cliff, with me IN it, because the mud is just too thick and slippery. After the loader cleared a path, I quickly took off. Barely minutes later, the big loader was pushed down by the mud......
The terror of the nature...

Happy Buttday to me!!! (belated)

Yesterday was my buttday. Weee!!!!!!!
Well, at this age, a birthday is not something that I should get too excited about. I know its just another day to me. Its just another day to others.

But the actual fact is, I did feel a bit humanised yesterday. I felt my existance, are felt by the people around me. And that gave me the reason to remain being me for years to come.

1st off is the concern shown by my sis, and also my mum on my presense in KL. Too bad Im having quite a few obligation here on the land of the dead; making me unable to go back on that weekend.
Family will always be family.

2nd off is the 'forced' birthday bash by my workers here. My kala-ok workers.
I even gave a lot of excuse just to escape the bash. But they insisted; and I gave in. Thats when I was humbled by their sincerity and attempt to shove in some joy into my life.

About my birthday wish. I thought of it for very long. I know what I wanted; and its not something monetary.
Eventhough I am now involved in some business needing lots of luck and effort, I never put in any wish in those matter. To me, monetary things are only a mean to achieve something else that I really really want in my life. And that thing, does not exist in my life yet. I am still hoping it will appear again.

So my wish - is for my next year's birtday wish to come true.
:)

Red Eye Peas

I cant believe I didnt spent much time looking on the monitor these few weeks.
I cant believe I didnt online much either.
So much more unbelievable things I did over the weeks too. Some were good things, some were not very good, but none was bad.

Well, there's one bad thing happened though. I got the red eye disease. Mata sakit like shit now. I think it will last for 2 weeks or so. So very the cham. Haihs.

Updates from Tokyo

Actually still not much updates. huhuhu
There`s no USB port or card readers with me now, as I am in LaQua - a dem nice n big indoor Spa, complete with natural hot water springs n wats not. Its awesome here. You can be pampered with relaxation thingys all day long. Its one time entry fee, and plus plus if you want to have other services. Decent services like massage n those other things. Totally worth it.
Its like a regular KL gym concept, only much bigger, much cleaner, much relax-er, much other thingies.

It is intergrated into sumthing like Sunway Lagoon/Genting themepark called Tokyo Dome City. The rides are awesome (i didnt take them) but they require another entry fee. I can imagine the crowd on weekends. If I am a permanent here, I will certainly take up their membership offer. Spa n gym whole day, Japanese chicks..... Its indoor heaven actually.

Enough about LaQua. What about shopping heh?
Well, There are just too many overseas brand over here esp from europe. No point buying those labels unless you are into blue labels by burberry. There isnt any sales too. So I just bought a couple of Japanese shirts and a Jeans from a famous Japanese designer brand. It cost at least double the price in Malaysia me thinks. Dun ask for souvenirs folks. Mahal wei.........wakakakka.

Anyhow. From this experience, I know truly madly deeply on how weak I am :(
Very chamness.

Silamat Hali Laya

Hooray!!! Its the festive season again. Hooray!!!! Holiday!!!!
hmmm.....Few days of holidays still mean holiday rite? Yay!!!!!

This is the 1st time I encounter some Balik Kampung experiences. I was not directly involved, but at least I see how horrid it actually is.
Traffic Jam for miles in the middle of the highway..... To think if I will actually be involve in the jam, it idiotic. Luckily I was in the opposite side of the highway. It was 2.30am...yes...2.30am!!!!! And the traffic was really really horrible. Its like the bumber to bumper KL morning rush. Just longer, and much more meaningless. Why meaningless? What about family values, raya spirit? Ask me again and I will still say its quite meaningless and borderline of idiotic. Not the family value n raya spirit, but the jam....
I believe throughout the years, the same thing had happen over n over n over n over again. I believe we as human, being an intellectual creature, should have thought of a way or system to ease/combat this kind of meaningless endeavor. But we, or rather them (those in the jam) didnt. Haihs....

And then the arrivals of 'kampung-babaric-minded' drivers to KL. Driving on the fast lane at below 80km/h, not giving way even after the flood light signal. Memang bodoh.
People going out and going in having the same level of intelligence. And we are stuck in between.

Luckily there are silver linings to spice up the raya season.
1st I've finally settled my Japan visa. Actually not yet settle. Now awaiting approval at Jalan Tun Razak. But consider settle oredi la. Wakakakaka. The itinerary I malas to think. At this stage, after so many travels, I would like to try a different type of travel - a clueless traveller. huhuhu.
Getting lost, having a hard time in chicken-duck conversation, getting chopped. All this can be said to be a true traveller experience no? huhuhu.

Career

What if you are offered

  • 50% salary increment
  • Job promotion
  • New exciting role at work
  • New better location (workplace)
  • Extra room for career growth
I assume the last thing you will do is to reject the offer. That was the 1st thing I did. One month ago, I would do anything for this kind of offer. Now is one month too late.
It's strange that I am asked to reconsider the offer. Strange as in - it is a very very good offer, and yet I am offered it twice, even after I rejected it.

I am not sure if I will regret this. Hopefully not. But there is now a path in front of me that I know I should try. To break free from the rat race. If I accepted the above offer, I will still be in the rat race. A bigger rat I will be, but still a rat. A big rat will have bigger problems to escape from the dreadful race.

I just hope my plans work well. Good luck to me!!!!!!

Kicking Off !!!!!

Hmm
My great plans is now on the move. Actually its just a great plan. The s is added to help a comrade. And the s took mucho of my bullets away. More than 60% of my bullet.
Ouch.
Not mucho of a return from that s plan. Sigh. But comradeship is needed in this world to survive. I needed to give away a huge portion of cake to others in my orginal big plan too. We cant be too greedy in this world. Too many people will be looking forward to kick you down when you reach higher. You will need some comrades to withstand those kicks.

Wish me luck dude.
The match has begun!!!!! Kicking off now!!!

Mini Malaysia Tour

Hei ho!! I am back from a mini Malaysia tour.
I covered 4 of the biggest state in Malaysia during my 3 or 4 days driving marathon. What I realised was, the life in those very different states are not very different after all. All that matters is the company you keep. After all, its just those few roads that separate us.

Well then, there has been quite a lot of things dancing in my mind, a lot of plans waiting in line to be kicked off.
Sometimes, it is extremely to difficult to choose which path I should follow.
Should I partake the path where I choose what I want in life?
Or should I walk the path where I choose what is available in life?
Both is very viable path and have their own multitude of followers. Many swear with their life over either one.

What I want is not necessarily good, or not necessarily suitable for me, or want me.
What is available is not necessarily bad, and might possibly suits me, and want me.

But then again, things can be completely vice versa. Aha!! The paradox of life. While the statement gives reasoning to walk the latter path, what about the former? Many will argue - what you want matters the most. But that same many, might not have walked my path before. That same many, might be still in their "Enid Byton" stage.

Basketball

I bought the shoes for quite long oredi.... but I never get the chance to use it. Only today I wore them for a basketball session. I thought I will play alone, so I brought a broom to sweep the court 1st. Its full of small tiny pebbles n sand. I dont want the ball to get spoil so fast. And I intend to sweep it often, so I can do my inline skating properly there.
Every time I use my 2k skate on that surface, the heart will ache once. Actually not once, with every roll the tyres make, the heart will ache.

Not long after I swept the floor, a few youngsters came to play. I guess they are in secondary school age. Form 4 maybe? Wakil sekolah me thinks.
Not long after some casual shootings, they ask me for a 2 on 2. Alright!!!! Not as boring as solo play. Furthermore, I think they should have a bit of skills judging from what they were wearing.

I managed to become the top scorer with my piercing lay ups and unblockable jump shots. Wakakakaka. Summore their most skillful player was effectively rendered useless by my defence.
When the points were at over 20 versus below 10, I asked them when will the game stop. I was told the game stops at 50 points. I was like OMGWTFBBQ!!!!11!!1!oneoneone1!
50 freaking points. I was almost out of my breath at that time. We continued the game and my old age became more apparent. I couldnt keep up with their steps and the points gap became narrower. It was torturous when it was in deuce battle. Like badminton, they decided to make the gap to 2 points in order to win should the points are tied at 48. The deuce battle ended at 60 points!!!!! The moment when I fell on the floor unconscious letting them winning the game. Chamness.

Is this lack of exercise, or really a sign of old age? Wakakakakaka.
I need to exercise more to know.

Wednesday 5 August 2009

A trip to down under

Whoopie.
Its been long, way too long since I have successfully organise/plan/join a trip. I used to be freaking good in it. High school time, holiday time, uni time, working time. Trips are planned and executed swiftly, be it small or big, few participants or many. All that stopped exactly almost a year ago. All trips planned fail, be it near or far, short or long. Financial or timing was not the issue. Total unwillingness to compromise from one side is enough to bring down any plan. Be it an hour drive away. So many times....actually all the time.

Now the option is so aplenty!!! I can go by plane, train or bus. I am open to ALL suggestions, so its not surprising so many trips are successes. And even more surprisingly, all the failures for the past many plans.
Now I could've booked the cheap tix to fly over -> surprisingly available since Im going over the very next week. But the lady suggested the bus. Hmm, why not? Its still comfy since we will be taking the more "luxurious" one.

Lets Gaga!!!

The Irrelevant Silent Majority

A German's View Of Islam

This is by far the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist
situation I have ever read. His references to past history are
accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth
the read. The author of this email is said to be Dr. Emanuel Tanay,
a well known and well respected psychiatrist.

A German's View on Islam

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to
World War II, owned a number of large industries and
estates. When asked how many German people were true
Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward
fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said,
'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many
more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just
thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the
majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then,
before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost
control, and the end of the world had come. My family
lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp
and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking
heads' that Islam is the religion of peace, and that
the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in
peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true,
it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff,
meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow
diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the
globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment
in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the
fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars
worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically
slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa
and are gradually taking over the entire continent in
an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead,
murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over
mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously
spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and
homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young
to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard quantifiable fact is that the peaceful
majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and
extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just
wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists
were responsible for the murder of about 20 million
people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.

China's huge population was peaceful as well, but
Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70
million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II
was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and
slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy
of killing that included the systematic murder of 12
million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword,
shovel, and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into
butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of
Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt,
yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most
basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims
have been made irrelevant by their silence.
Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they
don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany,
they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own
them, and the end of their world will have begun.
Peace-loving Germans,Japanese,Chinese,Russians,
Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians,
Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have
died because the peaceful majority did not speak up
until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay
attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics
who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and
just deletes this email without sending it on, is
contributing to the passiveness that allows the
problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send
this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands,
world wide, read this and think about it, and send it
on - before it's too late.

Michael Jackson Tribute - Stockholm. July 8, 2009

Dead or alive, tribute or not, the ability to make people unite and do things beautifully, a rare ability - is just..... too dem admirable. Will we have more people who can inspire us, to ignore our differences, unite and work towards our collective goal of a better future and community?

I think if 5% of our "leaders" have that kind of mindset, the world is already a near perfect place to live in.

Manohara: Kelantan prince files demand for RM1mil, her return
By SYED AZHAR

KOTA BARU: Tengku Temenggong Muhammad Fakhry Sultan Ismail Petra filed two applications at the Kelantan Syariah High and Lower courts here on Sunday demanding the return of nearly RM1mil from his wife Cik Puan Temenggong Manohara Odelia Pinot and her return.

In the affidavit filed by Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar and Abdul Halim Bahari on behalf of Tengku Muhammad Fakhry before Syariah High Court registrar Abu Bakar Abdullah Kutty, he claimed that before he married Manohara, she and her mother Daisy Farajina, had borrowed money from him totaling RM338,500 including a Swiss-made Audemars Piguet watch costing RM174,000.

Tengku Muhammad Fakhry also claimed that throughout their marriage from August 26 2008, Manohara or her mother had borrowed a further sum of RM634,250.

He said they understood the total of RM972,750 was a debt that had to be repaid.

He also said that, to date, the sum had yet to be settled and asked the court to order Manohara to pay the sum borrowed, costs and other relief deemed fit by the court.

At the lower Syariah court, Zainul Rijal and Abdul Halim also filed a summon on behalf of Tengku Muhammad Fakhry to demand the return of Manohara who had yet to come back to their client although an ultimatum to do so had been issued.

In his affidavit, he said that in the earlier stages of his marriage to Manohara, everything was blissful until Daisy started slandering him in the Indonesian media and that affected his relationship with Manohara.

He added that on May 31, 2009, while the couple was in Singapore keeping vigil on his father Sultan Ismail Petra Sultan Yahya Petra who was suffering from a heart ailment, Manohara left for Indonesia on her own accord.

He further said Manohara did not return to him and, in fact, had slandered him in the Indonesian media.

Tengku Muhammad Fakhry said Manohara’s action had tarnished his name and the Kelantan Royal Palace in the eyes of the Kelantanese subjects.

He claimed that that he issued an ultimatum to Manohara on June 26, through the local media, to return to his side and reconcile by Jul 2 and carry out her responsibility as a wife under the Syariah laws.

He added that Manohara was duly informed of the ultimatum via the media but she failed to comply and he asked the court to issue an order to reconcile or deem her to be nusyuz (recalcitrant).

He also claimed costs and other relief deemed fit by the court.

Tengku Muhammad Fakhry’s counsels also made an application for a notice of interlocutory at the Lower Syariah court to be served to Manohara via hand, Malaysian Embassy in Indonesia, advertisement in Indonesian newspapers or via post.

Abu Bakar who received the notice allowed the application.

The case is set for mention on Aug 2.

Actually those money he mentioned, whose money was it again?
I dont know whether this can be categorised as an "insult" or what. Its just a copy and paste, and a question.

Malaysian Women against taking Chinese maids

While I do understand their reason to strongly oppose hiring Chinese maids, I cant help to feel how pathetic they are at the same time.
They feel the intense heat of competition (if there's any) for the attention from their husbands. They have heard stories of how Chinese gals breaking families apart and without any thought, they start to take defensive stance, and admit that they are indeed no match for the Chinese.

Malaysian men has always been in competition with their oversea counterparts. Angmohs especially, among the others. Yet we dont really cry foul. We have heard how useless Malaysian men are, of how unromantic they are, how uncaring, etc by the fairer sex. Yet we dont see huge protest from men on such words. Some do get upset, and uptight over it. But most just live with it, and some take such words as motivation to improve. Many choose to live with it because they know Malaysian men is not THAT bad. Its just slurs by those spoilt women. Unappreciative and overdemanding sorts.

Back to the local ladies/women.
While most might think its all about sex, sex and sex only, its wrong. Sure, sex is a very very important thing, but its not THE decisive thing. How many times have you been told you are not good enough? Those are not the "words of encouragement for you to improve" mind you. How many times have you heard - "Its the modern age, men and women are equal" but are still expected to do what a guy "supposed" to do? Even for sex, when "today no mood lah" become like everyday no mood lah, its quite consuming for the mind.

I think the competition from the Chinese nationals is not that great, if we are from 1-2 generation ago. When wive greet husbands, eating peacefully, having clean ironed clothes to wear, sharing of problems instead of bickering of problems - esp for the bills.

Malaysia is known for copying and pirated things. We tend to copy the culture of others. And bad habits are especially easy to copy. This so called modern woman culture, I dont understand why only the bad are being planted in us.

MACC - Power Trip Mission

With great power, comes great responsibility.
Thats in comic. In Malaysia, with great power, comes the need of great publicity. They need some "face" or respect and do not feel shame in doing cheap publicity.

ALOR STAR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is expected to reveal several "big" corruption cases involving syndicates soon, its Director of Intelligence Datuk Mohd Jamidan Abdullah said Tuesday.

He said investigations conducted following information received from the public had enabled the MACC to penetrate certain syndicates and discover cases of corruption.

"Revealing these cases is important in meeting the demands of the people for the MACC to be a commission of high integrity following its elevation from the AntiCorruption Agency (ACA)," he told reporters after witnessing the handing over of duties to the new Kedah MACC director at the MACC office here.

Penang MACC deputy director Idrus Jaafar has taken over as the Kedah MACC director from Nooraziah Abdul Manaf who has been posted to the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya as the director of the Inspection and Consultancy Division.

Mohd Jamidan declined to mention any of the cases under probe, saying that the MACC would not reveal any case without concrete evidence.

Meanwhile, Idrus said six public officers in the support group in Kedah were among 19 people arrested by the MACC between January and June this year. - Bernama

I mean, what do you expect us to respond in releasing such statement? WOOOOOO WEEEEEE WOAHHHHHHH????
I dont even want to start doubting if THEY themselves actually taking bribes. Even if I go into a super naive mode to believe them in being squeeky clean. Do they need to trying-oh-so-very-hard to impress?

IF they are doing their work, and IF they are indeed combating corruptions, of course its a good thing. And if there's a publicity on it, sending out warnings to the ppl out there, it is ALSO a good thing.
BUT this. THIS. is entirely a different thing.

You are supposedly the MACC, you do, you catch, you apprehend, you warn.
This is none of the above. This is pasar malam publicity act.

Exercise

I am feeling damn lethargic these days. I cant even sleep when I know I am not sleeping healthily nowadays. Haihs. My experience tells me its the lack of exercise I need. Exercise meaning sports. Lack of it really is giving out a lot of problems to the body. My shoulder is having some sort of light injury for the past one month. And its not giving any sign of recovery. That alone is bad.

Nothing is really going on in this part of the world. Even if I want to do sports, I dont even know where to start.
Buy a basketball and do solo every week?
Utilise the overspent skate and keep skating?
Both?
I think doing both will be ideal, but where do I go?
Its not like they have public place for this kind of things. I dont wanna risk invading private properties here either. God knows what their response will be. A chinese guy invading properties. Doing nothing wrong invited troubles for me before. So making a wrong move will be the least of my priorities.

I should really search for a place. My body will fall all over the place if I dont keep it active as it should be.
Any good indoor sports? Indoor as in inside house/room. Can be done solo.

Finally my Mutual Funds reached their breakeven stage. Some still in the -ve region though, but overall, they are ok.
Im thinking of selling all of them. Channel the funds to another income vehicle. Or should I just keep them?

If transfered out, where should I channel them to?

Streamyx Technical Support

It was quite a funny experience. huhuhu.
A lot of Malaysians prefer to call the operators/technicians and scold them like crazy when their internet connection is down. So far, I dont remember raising my voice to one. Today was not unexceptional. I came home only to discover my internet line is not connected. I tried everything I could on my end. Repair and diagnose, restarting the modem a few times, all to no use.

So I had to call. I was expecting the usual 10 minutes hold. Tetiba somebody picked up at the 2nd dial tone. I am feel so surprising. The guy sounded quite polite and professional too. Most of them are polite, but this one can do some speeking. During the call, there's an announcement of east Malaysia and some part of melaka yadaa yadda will be facing interruptions....for days!! Alamaks, dun tell me my area kena. Still east Malaysia gua I guess. Sama-sama ulu, sama-sama berpokok. I am someone who cant stand wasting unnecessary time, especially in times of inconvenience. So I asked him if my place is affected as per the announcement a few times. If it is, nothing much I can do anyway. He just say he is checking. Then he ask about what XP la, Vista la, as if they are of any kaitan at all. Then ask if my house got alarm system o not la, using phone line or not. He even ask me to take out the phone line splitter and direct connect to test the connection. I just brushed him off telling him it wont work that way. Luckily he agreed. Ignorance is forgivable. I told him to try and reset my port instead.

He tried and confirmed its a problem on their side. My area is not in the interruption area (phew!!!), but my port is having some problem. They failed to reset it. He told me I had to wait for a technician to come over and fix the port manually. 2 days he say. Haihs....

Then I try to connect once again. And I am connected.... sweat
My port did get a successful reset. Kesian the technician.

We need to eliminate smaller fishes for bigger fishes

In this time of economic uncertainty, even the cronies are feeling the heat.
ALOR STAR:Works Ministry is phasing out part-time contractors as they produced shoddy jobs, said its minister, Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor.

He said there were far too many contractors in the country, numbering some 45,000, and it had to be reduced by retaining full-time contractors.

"It is hoped that the part-timers will be phased out. If you want to be contractors, you must be serious about it and make it your main source of income.

"Most part-time contractors take things easy and as such, they produced shoddy work. Some of them are using other people's licences and this is not a healthy culture," he told reporters after opening the Kedah Malay Contractors Association here on Saturday night.

Shaziman said about 31,000 contractors in the country were in class F category.

He urged small-time contractors to set up consortiums to give them the synergy to pool their resources and expertise and enable them to compete globally.

Shaziman advised owners of construction machines to register these with the association to enable ill-equipped contractors to rent them.

"This will not only forge cooperation among contractors but also help others to save cost," he added. - Bernama

They have been giving cronies free $$ for shoddy works for centuries. And the cronies has always enjoyed supports from the "rakyat" who made up the 45,000 contractors + workers. Coz the $$ is distributed amongst them. How did you think money politics take place mostly? Cold hard cash just like that? Some cases yes, but mostly, by offering contracts and turning one eye blind over the shoddy works.
Why you think there's a big hole in the middle of the highway? Infamous leak at the parliment?

But now, since the $$ is less to be shared, they will need to weed out the small fishes. More $$ for the bigger fish. Looks like more unemployment soon. Then there;s one funny statement above.
He urged small-time contractors to set up consortiums to give them the synergy to pool their resources and expertise and enable them to compete globally.

WTF competing globally? Fancy engrish? This is shoddy works with very very very very very very very very very very very very very very poor workmanship and you want them to jump to woooo......... "competing globally". Fancy engrish?
I've almost never encounter the "talk cock sing song" theory personally. Now I know why there's such a phrase.

24 hours notice for Rempits to surrender

As per title......nah, just joking. Rempits will never be apprehended. Because they are "future leaders", they are entitled to snatch, rob, rape and kill. At least within the border of Malaysia. Its in the constitution they say.

Now if you are not in the same ethnic group as them, then you will be hunt down nationwide for your crimes. Whatever crime, cause you are deemed to be "dirty" or "less holy". I got stopped before by police blocks in the middle of the night, and threaten with arrest because I was lepaking with 4 Malay friends. And they say they are trying to promote unity? 1Malaysia? OMFG what a joke! It was a friendly mamaque trip, I am not even the driver, but a passenger. My friends did back me up when the highly efficient crime solving officers threaten to arrest me to the police station for "spreading dirty activities to the Malay friends". The allegation came out of no where. And some of you say I am racist. My foot. See the scenario again. Who I was lepaking with again? Who backed me up? Its the government and its entire entity who are being racist AND promoting racism.

I heard Lim Kit Siang is going to be "questioned" for seditious remarks on the PM. So when are they going to arrest many more BN counterparts for seditious remarks on non-BN cronies? Or seditious remarks are deemed to be racism based handled? Oh wait, forgot. EVERYTHING here in Malaysia work that way.

And for the title - 24 hours surrender notice. Hmm, will there be a surrender notice for rempits? 24 hours notice for a sponsored trip to Taiwan maybe. For those who are not in Malaysia, dont be surprised. Yes, they DO plan to organise fully sponsored vacations for thieves, robbers, rapists and murderers. You just need to have the right lineage.

Colour skin crimes

I hope you guys are not new to the term rempits. Hahahaha. Sorry, couldnt help laughing. I mean, who the fuck dont know what is rempit in Malaysia. Go kill yourself now if you dont know, seriously.

And for obvious reasons, they are not regarded as threat by our government. Even if they snatch, kill and rob. They are just "too bored", "misguided temporarily", and the most hilarious - "future leaders of Malaysia". Well, the future leader statement in my opinion is very true indeed. look at our current ones and compare. They see themselves in them, hence them making that statement. If not, why? hahahaha, fucking hilarious again.

Crimes will only be acknowledge if you are not "future leaders".
For example - AhLong cases. While they are bad ass, but the victims are completely 100% in the blame as well. The innocent family members might not be though. But compared with the 0% blame on rempit victims, this is almost like comparing thieving and rob-kill.

Refer to this Rempit Style and this AhLong style. and our dear PM is worried on the AhLong, while encouraging Rempits. Hold your horses and tackle the right problems if you dont have the resources dude. Let the deserving AhLong victims taste their own medicine for a while and HELP YOUR RAKYATS.

You may think your behaviour and the Rempits are the same but they are certainly NOT our future leaders. This is a problem NEED IMMEDIATE addressing. Even an idiot know which one to worry more.

Intraday Trading

Shit man. I asked my broker about intraday trading on 27/05/09 for the fees and requirements. He only told me the fees will be 0.15% instead of 0.42% or a minimum of RM28. So I mah stepped into the realm of Intraday Trading lo. Started with Huaan, then today KNM. Riskier, but accumulated small peanuts, make big sags of peanuts.

But then again I saw the fees remained at 0.42%, cutting my peanuts by quite a lot!!! I confronted the agent at 9am today and keep sending reminder because he didnt response. He only responded at 3pm!!!!!
He said I need to fill in some form. WTF!!!! Before this why never tell? Now only tell? And so late???

Damn shit man... Public Mutuals agent and fund managers are bullshit. Now own e-trading also encounter bullshits. Non stop bullshit in this dog-eat-dog world man. OT-makes me think of Pulau Ketam.

KNM (7164)

AVP - RM 0.825
TP - RM 0.845

Queued at 0.825, didnt want to miss the boat by queuing lower. Even I queued at this price, the best buying price at that time, it took a while before it was matched. Changed from earlier 0.820 queue too. It did went to 0.815 in a 30 minutes time frame. Scared me for a while.

Queued to sell at 0.845 and went to sleep. Didnt want to get burnt. The price is now 0.890 and its just 3:35pm. After deducting the fees, earned a Jogoya meal. Good trade on a risky day.

Negative Cashflow

I did a rough calculation on my spending and the result shocked me. I am having a negative cashflow!!!! OMG OMG.
I didnt even put in lavish spendings. Just makan, loan repayments, rental, petrol.
Really the OMG. I dont even know where to cut. Except to eat less. Sweat.

The only other option is to earn more. Hmm.
I dont think a consistent earning in the stock market should be taken into account. I dont think I can pull it off either. I was uncle limming all the while. Even if they are educated uncle limming, it is still unwise to count it as butter n bread. Extra servings of desserts ok la.

So how to earn more? Consistently. Overquotes like invest in education/knowledge not really welcomed. That that Im against the quote, Im against the quoters who just know how to quote. Im having a fair share of cash to make good use of. Not big amount, but sufficient for small plays in various of fields. I just need to find out - which field is good and can provide me of what I want.

Malaysia economy contracted by 6.2%

I saw an earlier news about the possibility of a greater contraction than predicted. By the way Malaysians react to such news, I knew its not a problem to jump in and take some profit (Huaan). I was lucky as I was doing intra-day trading. Not only I saved on the commission, I was able to pull my foot back up before the real announcement was made. Quote from The Star

KUALA LUMPUR: The economy contracted by 6.2% in the first quarter (Q1) from the same period a year ago as a significant deterioration in external demand dragged the key manufacturing sector significantly lower.

Bank Negara Governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz said at a media briefing on Wednesday that “the deterioration was greater than expected” and that the exports outlook “remained weak”.

She added that Q2’s performance would likely be similar to the quarter under review.

According to the central bank’s report on the economy, all sectors experienced contractions year-on-year except for construction, which was boosted by spending through fiscal measures.

It added that the large inventory drawdown, particularly in manufacturing and commodity, also contributed to the decline in growth.

The manufacturing sector declined significantly by 17.6% led by a 23.1% contraction in export-oriented industries with the electrical and electronics subsector experiencing a steep 41.4% contraction.

The domestic-oriented industries also experienced a decline of 15.9% due to weakness in both consumer- and construction-related subsectors.

The central bank said the services sector was flat following a 0.1% decline due to the impact from subsectors closely linked to the manufacturing sector.

It added that the trade surplus remained large at RM32.7bil as the contraction in imports was larger than in exports due to the lower imports of intermediate and capital goods.

Even as a layman, the numbers are frightening. I think I will just stay at the sideline and monitor how things goes for the rest of the week. Thats almost the best I can do with my limited knowledge. The Public Mutual fund managers might jump into a suicide mission and squander my money before they recover. Go back to being Office Boys demmit.

HUAAN (2739)

AVP - RM 0.415
TP - RM 0.445

Queued at 0.415, the lowest price, and matched. Lucky coz it just barely minutes and touched that mark. It picked up after lunch to 0.440. Highest queue to sell was 0.450. Didnt sell higher because the volume is too much. Didnt want to risk, so sold at 0.445. Price went up and touched 0.495, closed at 0.475.

No regrets because it was gloomy on most other parts.

TEBRAU (1589)

AVP - RM 0.541
TP - RM 0.790

Touched 0.80 a lil but my highest option was 0.79. Not free to monitor at that time.
So 0.79 was the best highest selling price for that day. Lucky.

It remained the best highest selling price for many days after. Very lucky.

KLCI May rally

It has been a productive week. My previous losses was completely wiped out in just two trades. Not paper gain as I sold off the shares. Now only left with paper loss which I wont be selling for a very long future. Put it there to remind me of the possible losses I can make.

Stock Market versus Unit Trusts

I dump my money into unit trusts, specifically Public Mutual for two reasons.
1. As a forced saving
2. Malas to play in stock market

I do buy shares once in a while when Im free to analyse them. But more towards unit trusts. My relationship with unit trust kept dwindling though. While I understand unit trusts are not meant for instant or short term gain, I didnt expect it to make 40% of cash vanish. It was good initially. +30% in the first year, then the great decline came. Not that I am blaming anyone for the trusts' value to drop, but wtf with the big big drop.

The fund managers are definately idiots. Or they are just officeboy promoted to be fund managers, seeing the amount and types of fund coming out every month. Maybe thats why the mismanage of funds. I mean, they are making the same mistakes as I do. During the great decline, I made a few wrong choices, and they make the same wrong choices. So I lose 40% in both Stock Market and Unit Trust.
Now that the great decline has pass, I recouped 50% of the 40% lost in Stock Market, and those fund managers in Unit Trusts are not even catching up!!

If they cant match random uneducated share picking by a layman like me, what good can I make of them? Im thiking of disposing ALL of the Public Mutuals I have when they finally shred their paper losses. From the fund managers capabilities, they wont go high. Its ok if they dont go high, that is not my aim anyway. I just dont want them to make stupid mistakes again. Its ok for me to be my own fool. Letting a fool to manage your money just makes you an even bigger fool.

Im not sure if they can recoup the losses by the end of the year. They better be.

US Visa - Malaysia

Finally I got myself to the interview, after spending 50% more of the initial fee for the cancellations and re-appointments. Managed to pass the interview, easy as ABC. The queuing system there is crap though. There were time slots eg 7.40am, 8.20am and so on. Mine was the earliest, 7:40am coz I dun wanna be stuck in the morning rush. But I was interviewed later than those in 8:20am slots. Dem. Bodoh punyer US ppl. I am even there on time, and earlier than those 8:20am slots ppl. Here;s how they do things - There were like, 3 counters for interviews. 3 different interviewers conducting the interviews. They will just take a whole bunch of names with them, the whole time slot, and interview them 1 by 1. The person who got my slot was slow. A Mat Salleh. Ish. I was hoping the other chainese fella would interview me, coz he seems lenient, and fast. So because mine was with the Mat Salleh, the chainese fella interviewed like, 5-6 ppl and he only interviewed 1. Ugh. Thats y late. Or maybe a curse. Why a curse?

I said bout the cancellations right? Every time I arrange for an interview, somehow I will be forced to cancel it. It gets so annoying, I begin to think its a curse, trying to prevent me from getting a US visa. This time I almost had to cancel too. First was the website having some problems with the online form, by the time I got it fixed, my house printer ran out of paper, and the form was not meant to be saved to the PC, only print online.... So I get to the nearest 7-11, and they told me A4 paper was sold out!!! WTF, So i drove to the next nearest 7-11. This one is weird, first 7-11 having this bank/petrol pump station concept. It was locked, and we had to order our stuffs through a glass counter. Few people was waiting there, and I figured I should wait too, because they have A4 papers. Luckily I didnt get robbed, or I'll be cursing the shit out of the curse.

The next morning, I got up late... 7am. And I need to reach the embassy in Jalan Tun Razak at 7.30am. Really OMG. So I sped and used the shortest route I can imagine. Mines - Jln Klang Lama - North South HW - Smart Tunnel - Embassy. Not really the shortest in term of length, but certainly the shortest in term of time. Thats the ONLY time Im glad Smart Tunnel is there.

Another strange thing happen too. At my parking spot. I was lucky to find a legit parking spot near to the embassy. At a petrol station. It was the only slot left.

When I got out of the embassy, someone, or something moved my car. To this

There was no sign of break in, or damage to the car. The hand brake is still there. Weird. How on earth he moved my car? And to the middle (side) of Jalan Tun Razak, a dem busy road? A myvi took my spot. I wanted to smash its mirror. Coz its fat chances got kaitan with the owner. But nah, nvm. There were no summon, no clamps. Weird indeed. Nothing happened, so I didnt bother.

But how he moved my car leh? No tow truck there oso.

LHDN - Declaring your income tax

One more step into adulthood - declaring your income tax. Slowpoke indeed. Has always been a slow growth person, so a bit slow in taking this step. Ngam ngam declare my 2007 and 2008 income tax only. After so many attempts, FINALLY got it done.

A very big thank you to the staffs at LHDN in Pandan Indah. I have only heard good things about the services by LHDN, never bad. My previous encounters had been so-so. Those were in Ampang branch. Unclear info, ok-ok service.

But in here, I was shocked. I was left wondering, was that even a government agency. The service was so prompt, so detailed, so accurate, so friendly, in short, it was superb. A perfect service in term of customer service. Not only as a customer service, as an organisation dedicated to improve the society, at least within its juridiction. It not only rival those of private sectors, I think it exceeds them. Kudos to them.

On a separate issue, Im getting a tax return instead of a penalty. Muahahah

Rempits are now thugs

Im impressed in recent reports on cops recommending mandatory jail for road thugs aka rempits. Albeit very much slowpoke indeed, it is still a small step taken by the authority to combat such nuisance. Its not really a nuisance, its a bloody hazard.

Take the death toll for example. Significant numbers of death in snatch theft cases, only now they realise - oh, ada masalah ni. Scums are killing people just to feed themselves for a few meals. Not even pregnant women are spared. Fuck these scums man.... Not that they appeared from nowhere. They are right here on out streets, or living near to us, and the police are aware of their presence. Heck, the police even have their records. MULTIPLE count of snatch thefts and robberies and he still walks. You think a fine will deter them? What bloody nonsense is this? Dont you think they will just kill another pregnant lady to pay the fine? AND kill another to buy a KFC for themselves? Actually....you dont have to think. It is bloody happening and very much ongoing.

The recommendation of jail is good. But what with the fucking recommendation? Publicity stun? Where the fuck is the implementation? Dont get me started on the implementation. If, IF you are going to send them to jail, please bloody make sure you dont do the stupid things you always do. I'll be kicking myself in the arse if they are sent to the same prison cells. They'll just make friends there and lepak. Chit chatting about their experiences, boasting of the amount of pregnant ladies they snatched from. This is clearly very not constructive way of combating road thugs. Just send them randomly to prison cells. Announce their crime - Mr Ahmad is a rempit who snacthed and murdered a 8 months pregnant innocent woman. Let them enjoice the buttseks. See how heroic they are then.

Again, nice recommendation. Now stop the publicity crap and start implementing. And that Oxford Rempit Supporter. Shut your bloody mouth.

Barisan to release videos of May 7 sitting

50,000 DVD's
I lol at those who paid the taxes for it. Luckily I dont have to pay tax for 2007 and 2008. If not I sure stab myself at the thigh for contributing to such idiocy.

You want a wider and prolonged audience, upload it to the internet. How stupid you can be to not even think of that? Instead, they chose to throw in numbers.

HUIYAAAAA, FIFTY THOUSAND AAAARRR DVD we will distribute to the public.

I guess its really too free for them there. So, where's the budget to buy the multi copiers? The FIFTY THOUSAND AAARRRRR DVDs?
This is even a worse sight than seeing kids..boys...throwing sand at each other during a fight in playing masak-masak!!!! Just about everything is wrong.

Pentium MMX - my dream which never came

Oh man, how do I even start.
I still remember how I dream of having a computer at home. Especially when other classmates have them. The peak of that desire was doing secondary school. Lower secondary. The memory is still so fresh.
at that time, we cant even afford a Pentium II even after Pentium III was out for quite some time. :sigh:
I overnite quite frequently in classmate's house to lepak 2 play computer game. That time no handphone yet la. The era of those water bottle handphone. So sometimes I called home to inform my mum I wont be home for that day. Sometimes, not too convenient. She oso biasa dee. And the overnite thing is very very impromptu. After skool, makan, then joms. No clothes to change. So will be only clad in skool uniform.
Maybe guys will be guys heh?

Long after Pentium III was out, dun say Pentium II, even Pentium I MMX oso cant afford to get. At those time, the MMX words sounded so gempak. At the end, we finally got a Pentium Celeron. I forgot about the spec, but I played hell lots of game with it. Well, not many la. But dem frequent, mastering a few games. Then the 56k internet connection at that time oso. I didnt really abuse the internet like now though. Too expensive. Per minute basis. The charges like handphone nowadays?

Its an entirely different picture now. The top of the line model with matching peripherals. Most satisfying is its bought using my own salary.
How things have changed. Still the same addiction and craziness though.
I still cant believe I played that FFVII continuously, DURING SPM time. PPl burning candle light studying, I burning candle light at the game. Its only 24hours left, eh no. The night itself, I started to search for books. Square Enix sengaja play games with me in releasing FFVIII during STPM......this time better though, 3 days before exam, i started to flip the pages.

I wondered how life became relatively easier. Did the family status rose economically? Did I rose up economically? Or is the whole society enjoying rather a more relaxed state? If the whole society moved, did I move parallel with it, or did I overtook it a lil? Life is still not as easy as it seems though. But certainly a far cry from what it used to be. I used to be more frugal though. I keep every cent; every cent that I have. I always have enjoyed seeing my own jar of coins. The full jar is worth a lot to the little boy I was. I never get to spend those jars though. They were used to pay the bills, household bills, and to put food on the table. nevertheless, the fire never stopped burning. The jars will always be filled, coins by coins.

Im not frugal now though. Jars of coins became booklets. Bank booklets. Whenever the numbers exceed 3 figures, it will automatically drop. Unnecessary things. Unused things are bought and kept aside.

Hmm...interesting turn of events.

Japan 7 days itinerary

Too early to plan dude.
Cant even book a hotel now. Too many months in advance.

Maybe next month only will go and apply for Nihon Visa.
They last time kill and hamsup us Chainese. Now I go there hamsup all the Japanese.

Who have experience or suggestion on a 7 days Japan tour please share share ya.
Arrive at Osaka 1st, then fly back Malaysia through Tokyo.

Why like that leh? Coz like that at least will save 1/2 day on travelling.
Then leh, less baggage if start from Osaka, coz shopping spree should be in Tokyo.
3rdly, tix cheaper if book 2 X single trips as opposed to a return tix. I am very surprising.

Amanah Saham Wawasan

Malaysia is indeed a third world country.
I "closed" my account years ago. Why did I put " "?

Such Amanah Saham is an investment tool which will be grabbed by the Chinese the very day of their launch. Although being the majority investors, a minority portion is given to them. The majority portion are being wasted by the minority investors as the minority investors dont really have to invest.
They are spoon fed.
And while the Chinese uses their wisdom to save and invest for the future, while turning on the investment wheel, the others sit back, lay down and expect meals to arrive on its own.

The freaking irony when Chinese are being labelled as "rich" when they bring their money and grabbed ALL of their Amanah Saham allocation.
You are unwise to use the oppurtunity granted to you, and you want to turn things into a negative light?
Such is also used as justification that they need more time, even after 1-2 generations pro-independence. Did we Chinese, brought in as slaves for not that many years gained THAT much of an advantage, that it will need more generation of yours to catch up? Despite the all the quota to stop us from advancing? Despite us being denied equal education right? Despite us having to feed you at least 30% of whatever we have?

The above is a derailment of my initial intention of this post.
My apologies.
So, Malaysia is indeed a third world country. I bought the Amanah many many years ago. With my mum (I am a puny secondary schooler at that time). Times were hard, I "cancelled" my account and withdrew all the money (RM 100 sahaja).
I dont have many oppurtunity to buy them again as they will only be available during the launches. See above for why - the allocations.
Today is the day I am here in Malaysia, and they launch another batch of units for grabs. I didnt want to waste the chance.
I went to queue up to open an account. The queue was bearable for a small town Im in.
Then I was told I need to bring the book. The Passbook, as I am having an account with the Amanah Saham. I explained I had an account, and not having an account now, as I closed it many years ago. Which they replied - the account is very much active. Hmm, I asked them if thats the case, do you mean I have money inside the account.

They just said the account is "uncloseable", something which reminds me of sci-fi movies for things "invincible" or "indestructable". Pretty odd philosophy for a financial institution to follow. I am reminded not to lose the book. I was stunned. I withdrew all the money, close the account, and cant I burn, throw, eat the book? But of course, I didnt close the account, it is "uncloseable".

So once again, I missed the oppurtunity to save my money in a decent investment vehicle. All others made 45% of my assets vanished.
I call it fate

Lapping the i7 920 and TRUE

Did a very rough lapping on my i7 920 and the TRUE
Both having obvious scratch marks still. Not a mirror finish.
Maybe my rough hand is not for this kind of job.

No pictures yet though. No bluetooth or phone data cable available.
Phone not using SD....jilakat SE.

The result is not entirely pleasing, but ok la.
Made it possible to go 4.0Ghz with HT on 24/7 without reaching 80C
with load summore.

Its just a 4C difference.
Yet it made all the difference.

Pentium i7 920 OC

Got the beauty last Sunday. Couldn't wait for PC fair. I doubt PC fair will have prices cheaper than what I got anyway.
This beauty behaves like a beast. The OC-frenliness is epic. Too bad I got the wrong motherboard for it. Not wrong, just very limited in terms of complimenting the OC-ness of i7 920.

It's lucky that I requested the D0 revision batch. The supplier didnt know there's a difference at first. So I specifically told him to get the D0 version. He gained too from the D0 stock as they are like hot cakes. Grabbed within the day. Sweat.
Other suppliers who knew of the revision didnt take many stocks as its unreviewed, and too new.

The picture above is the OC test I did, which didnt fail after an hour; despite the bad airflow in that area of the house.
I am not comfortable with the load temp though. And the RAM too.
I think I will balance the both speeds to optimise the performance.

I think I will go for 3.8Ghz instead of 4.1Ghz. It can get lower in temp.
And will go for 8-8-8-24-1T instead of 9-9-9-24-2T. Will test the responsiveness.

Turn for a positive turn

Hopefully the bad turns are over now.
Confirmed I lost RM 15k. And I shuld've gone back earlier. Turns out that I will lose the 15k even if I have gone back in May, June or even July. Hmmm.
Corporate world. When they need you, everything is ok. When they dont want you anymore, all shits will start to float.
Sacrificing not to go back for CNY surely sucks.

Now that monetary value are lost, Im waiting for the positive turn now. I am guessing windows of opportunity here.
Not sure what type of window though.

Okays, less than a forthnight to go.

Carnival 09 Sneak Peak

I cant believe it.
Either I got lazier in taking photos, or I got suckier. I guess its both :(
It was raining off and on though, which means taking photograph will be harder.
Other than that, I cant believe a cheappo 50mm can produce better results than the tammy. If I remember correctly, most of the better pictures were taken by the entry level prime lense.
I should try to bring just that lense out 2molo n see see.

BOYCOTT DIGI!!!!!!!!

Slowpoke a bit. Im not in Msia ma.
Although I am using Digi, Im gonna fucking boycott Digi once I reach Malaysia soil. Im gonna freaking boycott anyone using Digi. If you happen to use Digi, then fuck you. Ok, maybe not fuck you. Ignorance is bliss. I was ignorant too. But u fucking better change to sumthing else than Digi. Even the bloody Celcom which I dun like. Ok, not bloody Celcom, just Celcom. But fucking Digi is unacceptable. If you need to pay to change, or need money to buy the simcard, so be it. I PAY!!!!!!

Its not about poor receptions, its not about their rates. This is about principle and the disgrace felt for living on the same soil with them. Stupid mother fuckers.
This is by FAR the angriest post I ever have in my bloody entire life. And Im not even under alcohol influence.

I cant believe stupidity and idiocracy can be in such a monumental level now in Malaysia. Seeing a sponsored widely promoted media spreading and promoting it is even worse.

Even if your earlier intention on creating the event was meant to be noble. But it is a suck ass fuck shit results u came out with.

I hope you can come to ur senses and apologise to those who are permanently tormented by your actions. I hope you get ur ass sued too. Even if legal action is not successful, your stupidity and insensitivity should be spread far and wide so you can bankrupt earlier.

Life Water

Another episode of my life water.
White white hilang at least RM 15k. Very the alamaks. They are actually my rightful reimbursement. They are now gone because I requested to be transfered back early. I could've gotten them if I requested to transfer in April. Then back in Malaysia in May.
2 months of difference, 15k white white gone.

Well, I believe a silver lining will appear once I reach Malaysia. It is always like this. My life water. Everytime I lose monetary, I tend to gain from other things.
I do feel disappointed over the lost. I can do a lot of things with it. But I've been through so much that I know its useless to be too negative about it.
Even if I am so poor right now. :(

What I have to do now is to anticipate whatever nice things which may come my way later. Hopefully a good one.

Saving Money!!!! Must save 1st before ANYTHING else

I realise I can save a lot when I do it unconciously.
I tried to save conciously.
By putting them into Unit Trusts and shares. I dont really speculate or try to be greedy. Its just a place for me to store money.
But I friggin lose 40% of the value on those things.
Ppl call it "life water". True to a point.
If I have save it in my bank, they would have long gone. Become material things liau. Worse than now I suppose.
If I have bought a property earlier, it might have been collapsed.
Worse than now I suppose.

But by me saving money unconciously, I can see my cash is actually accumulating.
I changed my mere income (10% of total) to Pound Sterling because I wanted to go vacation with Lifong in UK. This currency exchange thingy has been going on for 2 months since the Pound dropped.
Because of unavoidable circumstances, the vacation got cancelled. So I did a brief count on the Pound I have.....
Its like OMGWTFBBQ!!oneone11!!shiftone!!1

They are not much. But 2 months worth of 10% income is half of my TOTAL savings of 2 years. Really the sweat.
I must adapt to my own form of saving.

Monetary Waste

Without knowledge, one is doomed.
I was doomed. I am still doomed.

I have no one to blame for, except myself. I had every opportunity to change my star. I have every capability to become financially independent. Logic tells everyone, nothing that is highly vaulable or worthy comes cheap or easy. Yet I chose the lazy path. Costly mistake. Very costly mistake which set back my capability now.

Yet, the oppoturnity to garner more knowledge never cease. No point being a sour grape.
No point crying over spilled soup. You'll only waste more time and oppoturnity with it.

Eating KFC with my eyes

The other day I was having KFC for dinner. KFC is sort of cheap compared to other food. No money mah, mah eat KFC lo.

I was in the middle of Bnet oso. Main game lar katakan. Eating while playing is very the normal geh.
But leh.....a small piece came out. And it went to my eye. Right eye.
Woah...dem uncomfortable. But I kenot use my hand to touch it. Both oso dem oily and dirty.

So I rushed to the toilet. Controlling the dem uncomfy feeling man.
But my auto reflex finally took over. Very good oredi wan la, controlling auto reflex for so long....

My eye blinked twice. Blink Blink, glurp!!!
When I reach the toilet, the piece of chicken is gone liau. Inside the eye....
I tried to korek my eye, but still kenot find.

This is not the 1st time my eyes telan stuffs. Wonder where they go.
Any medic student care to explain?

Wasteful Indulgence

There was something I wanted to buy in Malaysia, since 1/2 year ago. On both the trips I was back, I couldnt keep my eyes off it. But too mahal lar. RM 325. Ouch....
I bought sumthing else. Not too expensive, and its nice oso.

Then suddenly here while I was lunching, I saw SALES!!!!!! So there I went, hoping I can find a pair of nice basketball shoes. Uiks!!! Got wor.... 65% discount tim.
But think think again, not very active here in Basketball. Buy mah waste? Might as well wait till back in Msia oni buy rite?
But the temptation is high oso. 65%.... huhuhu
And the price is ok and quite cheep compared to the same range in Msia. How how?
Ended up didnt buy coz wanna buy one maybe in London or Malaysia when I go baxk.

Then leh, tetiba at the corner of my eyes, I saw sumthing. The Adidas Microbounce+ DLX running shoes!!!!! Got 2 stickers there, one written $749.99, and another one $350.00. Im like uiks?? I ask the salesman, "eh, which one is the correct?" He said its the $350.00 punyer. Im like uiks again. Didnt write got discount. N so nice punyer model.... so fast discount 50%?
I tried it on....ngam ngam my size....WTFOMGBBQ!!!11oneone11! Rarely sales items got my size in Msia. Maybe here all big size, so sales item got my size here.
Fate!!!! So i bought it. But then again, at the cashier, I ask again "this kasut is the $350.00?" He said ya lor. Im like uiks again n again.

Bank Robbers. Me so bahaya

30k oredi kena tembak. I almost everyweek oso go bank tim. Sure evelibadi recognise me liau. Most of the time, I always take out more than 30k. sweat

Actually very easy to target ppl wan. Esp those withdrawing huge sum of mani. The system here oso cacat wan. The ATM oni can withdraw maximum of 3k per week. Even normal ppl oso need to take out more la. Ini pulak business ppl. So, ppl who make huge transactions, and often, surely will be recognise by the local ppl there. And also the bank workers.
So the next time you go there, the locals or the worker can agak you are going to take out a lot of money. The queue to the counter usually takes around 45minutes (yes, dem bodoh). So, they will have plenty of time to prepare and ambush you later.

Very cham lah me.

Bonus.....no get??

Hmm.... My bonus is not in yet :(
The thing is, majority of the ppl here came late, meening less than a year service in TnT. Meening Meening they are not supposed to get bonus, contract says they will get it only end of this year. Delayed one year.

But what about me leh? Im here for more than a year oredi. Im supposed to get mine. Ugh. Dont lump me together leh. Jilakat.
Even this year is the recession year, so the announced bonus might not be much, Im still entitled to it.
Almost CNY now. Gimme gimme leh.

Since I wanna go back to Malaysia, I definitely need some upgrade in gadget. Interneting or gaming. Im not sure about lappie allocation yet. If im indeed ending up in the same company with same lappie, then I dun need to buy a lappie albeit the current one is quite old...cant really play games, or use photochop. :((
But takkan use 2 lappie. Ish. A desktop? I rarely do heavy gaming nowadays though. Photochop can borrow sis PC geh, maybe help her upgrade her monitor oni.
Still, depends on the current lappie status quo.

Then while Im lepaking, how leh? I meen in wifi spots. No ok-ok lappie oso. Get a mobile one?
My eyes currently on this one - Nokia N97. Few months to go before release though.
On Malaysia soil, should be touching around RM 2.8k? Ohmaigoat!!!
These kind of things only pretty cool for a few months, then they'll die off replaced by other models/brands. No such extra cash for luxury. Might as well put it in to lappie/desktop fund.

Public Transport

Well, when one complains about a certain situation, one should do sumthing about it. If not, he will be just a hyprocrite. No? Yes me thinks.
Because I did complain about the traffic situation I encounter when I'm back, I did do sumthing bout it.

I didnt change the traffic situation la...Im just one man.
But I did try alternative ways to travel - taking the public transports (PT).
Most of the time, I take public transport to get around places - especially KL.

I discovered though, the public transport system in Malaysia is quite screwed up. In order to get to the PT needed, you will need your own car. This is because - you will need to travel significantly before you get to a PT. You will need to worry and find expensive parking for your car. Or illegal parking for that matter. Before paying additional for the PT.

Then again, the LRT n monorail system is quite bodoh oso.
I always go during non-peak hours. But I always get cramped like its in peak hours. Those stupid train drivers actually stop n wait for passengers. WTH. They employed from MetroBus? So you actually need to wait for quite sometimes before you can get to your destination. LRT konon. They wanna create those utilised feel or sumthing?

They spent so much on the infrastructure, why wanna waste our time and money, IF they intend on saving on the operation cost? More passenger per trip n such. This is just a fraction of their depreciation cost n other things. Bodohnyer. If the gomen can bail out kaki companies like Proton n MAS, they should use those mani to spend on these system.

So, whats the convenience preach by the gomen about PT as our alternative? Sigh
